Rose Yeboah of Ghana reached new heights in the women’s high jump at the World University Games, earning gold after jumping an astounding 1.94 metres.
At the current World University Games in Chengdu, China, the sensational female high jumper, who is eager to compete in the World Athletics Championship, earned gold in her event.
She set a new national record (still has to be confirmed) and set a personal best by jumping 1.94 metres.
Yeboah has earned a spot in the 2023 World Championship, which will take place from August 19th to the 27th in Budapest, Hungary.
Having won the gold medal at the 2022 African Championship in Mauritius, she is now eligible to compete.
After graduating from Kumasi Girls Senior High School, Rose Yeboah is furthering her study at the University of Cape Coast.
