Kwame Baffoe (also known as Abronye DC), regional chairman of the NPP in Bono, attended his father’s burial last weekend.
The burial for Abronyo DC was attended by several prominent members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua, and NPP National Chairman Stephen Ntim.
Party heavyweights such as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, Members of Parliament, ministries, and national and regional executives all chipped in to help cover the staggering cost of the burial, which came to a whopping GH134, 000.
According to a member of the party making the announcement, President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Bawmia, and the head of staff each gave GH25,000.
