Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog ventures into drill music with new single “Obra,” featuring South African rising artist ROIII, following his experimental tactics on the Afro-Drill song “Asoden” in 2022.

This is both their first recording together and his first single of the year.

The new tune, produced by Tasso and featuring prominent 808 drums and the gloomy beats that distinguish them, portrays the rapper’s struggles to maintain equilibrium between his several responsibilities.

He describes the hectic pace of life in a poem that will please the initial cult audience that helped launch his career to superstardom.

Roiii, a 19-year-old rapper from Pretoria, South Africa, backed up his Afro-Drill counterpart with a verse full of smooth flows and practical street experience.

Yaw Tog is now widely recognized as one of Ghana’s most influential rappers. Because of Tog, a previously obscure subgenre of modern music has gained widespread acclaim and established itself as a major force in the industry.
