Joel Fameyeh scores for the second time in a row as Rubin Kazan draws against Orenburg

Joel Fameyeh, a forward for the Ghana national team, scored for the second consecutive game when Rubin Kazan and FK Orenburg played to a 1-1 draw in the Russian Premier League.

At the Ak Bars Arena on Sunday, Fameyeh’s goal helped his previous team tie Rubin Kazan 1-1.

In the 35th minute of the second game, the 26-year-old former Asokwa Deportivo player opened the scoring by redirecting a shot from midfielder Aleksandr Zotov.

With nine minutes remaining, Argentine defender Matias Perez tied the game for the visitors.

Fameyeh played for 90 minutes before being taken off for Soltmurad Bakaev in the last seconds.

The Ghanaian has gotten off to a hot start in the 2023-24 season, scoring twice in the first two games.

Last week, he scored a goal when Rubin Kazan and Lokomotiv Moscow played to a thrilling 2-2 tie.
