Following a discussion between teachers union officials and K.A Technologies, the computer company announced that it will soon resume distribution of laptops to teachers under the One Teacher, One Laptop initiative.
According to K.A. management, the goal of the meeting on May 31, 2023 was to inspect stock and discuss the plan for resuming the distribution of the Mate 1 laptop to teachers. “Further to the meeting held with the leadership of the Teacher Union on May 31, 2023, at the offices of K.A Technologies to inspect stock and discuss the resumption of laptop distribution.” “I enclose the revised distribution schedule as agreed upon,” stated the letter to the unions.
According to the revised schedule, computer distribution under the ‘One Teacher, One Laptop’ policy would take place in phases across the country. The following are the distribution dates:
