After a brief illness, Millison Narh, a former deputy governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), passed away in the United States, according to Myjoyonline.com. Mr. Narh served as the Deputy Governor of the BoG from July 2009 until his retirement in 2017. He even briefly served as the BoG’s governor during his time there in 2016, filling in for Dr. Kofi Wampah, who decided to retire early. Beginning on July 20, 2009, Mr. Narh served as the second deputy governor of the BoG before being appointed deputy governor. Later, in 2013, he achieved promotion to First Deputy Governor. The Bank of Ghana’s Corporate Governance Committee, Strategic Planning and Budget Committee, Monetary Policy Committee, and Human Resources, Governance, and Legal Committee were just a few of the committees that Mr. Narh participated in throughout his career.
