Franklin Cudjoe, president and founder of IMANI Africa, has described an encounter he had with an Emirates Airline personnel in July 2012.
Cudjoe stated in a social media post he published on July 30, 2023, that the Emirate personnel provided him with insight into the operations of international airlines and aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Airbus.
According to him, the personnel informed him that while Airbus is manufactured by idiots, Boeing is not.
“Airbus was manufactured by stupid people for intelligent people to fly” Boeing is in the opposite position,” he wrote.
In addition, the personnel informed him of the importance of “people management skills” for winning battles.
Franklin Cudjoe’s statement follows reports of many stranded passengers, including Ghanaians, at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) after their KLM Boeing 777 flight #KL590 was compelled to return to Accra due to “technical issues.”
According to a report by airlive.net, on Friday, July 28, 2023, a Boeing 777 flying from Accra to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, turned around 20 minutes into the flight.
According to the report, the flight scheduled to depart Accra at 22:05 (8:05 p.m.) from the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) was delayed by one hour.
An eyewitness on board the flight reportedly reported that the plane’s interior was significantly warmer than usual.
After landing, the Boeing 777 was growing increasingly hotter, and the fire department was summoned for safety.
