Black Sherif becomes the first Ghanaian act to perform at the Wireless Festival in the UK

High-flying Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif wowed crowds at the Wireless Festival in London with an exhilarating set list from his incredible award-winning discography. The singer of “Oil in my Head” returned to the spotlight after a successful US and European tour, performing at the Couleur Cafe Festival in Belgium, SummerJam Festival in Köln, Afronation Portugal, and Openair Frauenfeld in Switzerland. In the summer, he also performed at one of Europe’s most prestigious festivals, Wireless Festival UK, alongside artists like Travis Scott, Playboy Carti, Ice Spice, and 5 Seconds of Summer. Over 50,000 people attended the festival, which got underway on Friday, July 7, for the duration of the events. Doors were open on Fridays from 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Saturdays from 11 am to 10:30 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 9.30 pm. Every year, Finsbury Park in London hosts the hip-hop event known as Wireless event, which is renowned for its exuberant A-list hip-hop lineup and wild after parties.
