Jennifer Cudjoe, a midfielder for the Ghana Black Queens, has been signed by the Gjensidige Women’s League squad of FC Nordsjaelland in preparation for the impending season.
Cudjoe, 29, possesses a plethora of experience, having most recently played for NJ/NY Gotham FC in the highly regarded American National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). She has inked a one-year contract with FC Nordsjlland with the intention of contributing her skills to the club.
The addition of Jennifer Cudjoe has energized the Women’s League squad, especially sports director Jessica Davis. Davis emphasizes Cudjoe’s extensive experience in the NWSL and her contributions to the Ghanaian national team.
“Jennifer will be one of the oldest players on the team, so she will bring a wealth of experience to our young Women’s League squad,” Davis emphasized.
Cudjoe’s prowess as a sturdy defensive midfielder who is adept with the ball is well-known. FC Nordsjlland expects her to develop into a central midfield leader, bringing her expertise to the field.
In addition to her playing abilities, Cudjoe has been praised for her values off the pitch. She has been a driving factor in advocating for female football players in Ghana and throughout Africa, aiming to improve opportunities for female athletes.
