Vice President Dr Mahamoud Bawumia, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, is set to undertake a three-day campaign visit in the Western North Region on Wednesday, September 20.
According to a statement signed by Felix Foster Ackah, the Party’s Regional Secretary, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, the Vice President would visit delegates in the constituencies of Aowin, Suaman, and Akontombra on the first day.
On day two, the journey would begin at Bia East, then move to Bia West, and finally to Juaboso. He will then meet with delegates from the Bodi Constituency.
On Friday, September 23, Vice President Bawumia will meet with delegates from both the Wiawso and Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituencies to conclude his campaign visit of the area.
“The region would give equal opportunities to all aspirants to ensure unity before and after the presidential primaries on November 4 for victory in the 2024 election,” the statement stated.
