Ansgar Knauff, a winger of Ghanaian descent, has officially signed a five-year contract with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The forward, who was on loan from Borussia Dortmund to play for Frankfurt, impressed the Eagles enough that they decided to sign him to a long-term deal.
The majority of the 21-year-old’s short career has been spent playing for Borussia Dortmund’s youth teams.
Knauff, who joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan in January 2022, made a huge impact on the team last season with 24 games, one goal, and two assists.
In his first six months, he also contributed to the team’s victory in the UEFA Europa League.
